BTC is not only a great training ground for powerlifters, but also holds regular competitions for both the ABPU and BPU federations as well as Novice competitions for people just wanting to have a go!
Having qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2012, Pete spent the first five years specializing in weight loss for clients. From there he ventured into learning and coaching Olympic Lifting and Powerlifting.
In 2017, Pete founded Barbell Training Complex as a PT Studio before extending and opening it as a full gym in 2020.
Blaine has been studying and working in the field of performance for over 17 years.
With a BSc and an MSc in sport related disciplines, Blaine also is Accredited Member of the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association.
Blaine has worked across three different continents with athletes from across the world in over 40+ sports, from Archery to Snowboard to Ice Hockey to Cricket to Wheelchair Racing to name but a few.
Dan has been competing in competitive powerlifting for the past 6 years, since joining the BTC family Dan has made it his mission to help grow the fitness classes, Dan himself coaches our Hyrox and Bootcamp classes. Dan has a real passion helping people with their strength goals no matter if the client is new to the gym environment or has been training for decades.
Jules, a former competitive powerlifter, has been part of BTC since 2018. Passionate about transforming fitness & performance for every individual, offers personal training and classes to help clients succeed. As a valued qualified Coach and Personal Trainer at BTC, Jules coaches Hyrox, Bootcamp, Functional Fitness and Olympic weightlifting.
Molly has been working as a coach for several years specialising is fitness, strength and mental health. As a valued qualified Coach and Personal Trainer at BTC she also coaches functional fitness and Olympic Weightlifting Classes.
